The Goodnight Scholars Program team is responsible for the selection of freshmen scholars and management of their progress from enrollment and matriculation through graduation. As part of this growth, the Goodnight Scholars Program is seeking a student-focused professional who is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that support student development, academic success, and community engagement.
In this role, you will help shape the scholar experience through engaging programs, educational travel, leadership opportunities, and signature events. You will also advise students, mentor student leaders, and contribute to outreach and recruitment efforts that strengthen the program and support incoming scholars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement student development programs, educational activities, and major program events that enrich the scholar experience.
- Lead and plan the annual retreat for approximately 100 incoming scholars, supervising the retreat leader and assistant team in collaboration with the Assistant Director for Outreach and Selection. Support summer onboarding and first-year selection activities, including interview day.

- Develop and lead educational travel opportunities that expand scholars' learning experiences and complement their academic and personal development.
- Assist with teaching a first- or second-year seminar and support student learning through related educational programming.
- Help manage the program's registration system in Slate and coordinate the organization, maintenance, and upkeep of the student lounge.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the college experience of Goodnight Scholars by connecting students with opportunities to learn, lead, and build lasting relationships. If you enjoy developing engaging programs, mentoring student leaders, and coordinating experiences that help students thrive, we invite you to bring your skills and enthusiasm to the Goodnight Scholars Program. |
