This opportunity is based on a Maintenance Technician career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates. Job Duties Perform general facility and grounds maintenance. Assist with plumbing, drywall, painting, framing, and other remodeling projects. Complete basic electrical and mechanical repairs. Maintain equipment such as lawnmowers, forklifts, weed eaters, and blowers. Operate hand and power tools safely. Complete required paperwork and documentation. Pick up and deliver parts and materials as needed. Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid Texas Driver's License required. Maintenance, mechanical, or trade school training is a plus. Experience Requirements Previous facility maintenance, building maintenance, or general labor experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity. Strong teamwork, communication, and safety awareness skills. Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic are essential. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the shift. Capable of lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, power tools, and groundskeeping machinery.
