Position Summary

is seeking an Engineer II to provide hands-on laboratory support for troubleshooting and evaluating complex electromechanical systems used in product development and service engineering activities. This role is heavily lab-focused, with approximately 80% of time spent diagnosing and resolving issues related to printed circuit boards (PCBs), cables, fluidics, mechanical hardware, motors, pumps, valves, and system-level components using oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools.

The successful candidate will work independently to identify root causes, conduct testing and analysis, document findings, and collaborate closely with software, hardware, firmware, and systems engineers to resolve technical issues. This position requires a strong troubleshooting mindset, the ability to execute test protocols, and experience working within an engineering laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and fault isolation of PCBs, cables, fluidic systems, mechanical hardware, motors, valves, pumps, and related components.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Conduct system runs, testing activities, evaluations, and engineering analyses to support product development and service engineering efforts.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware engineers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
  • Execute design verification testing, document results, and generate engineering test reports.
  • Build, modify, and evaluate prototype fixtures, tools, and breadboard assemblies.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, specifications, schematics, and mechanical layouts.
  • Apply engineering principles and independent judgment to solve complex technical problems with minimal supervision.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and risk management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, quality requirements, and company procedures.

Qualification & Experience
