Position Title: Janitor/Cleaner
Wage: $17.00-$19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Janitor/Cleaner for a company in Whitewater, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Janitor/Cleaner Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and entryways - Empty trash and recycling containers regularly and ensure waste receptacles do not exceed capacity - Perform daily vacuuming of carpets and rugs - Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the facility - Spot clean doors, windows, and glass surfaces - Clean light fixtures and perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs - Operate a floor scrubber and perform routine floor maintenance - Support a safe and organized work environment by identifying and reporting maintenance or housekeeping concerns - Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures Janitor/Cleaner Requirements: - Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds on a regular basis - Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and move throughout the shift - Ability to repeatedly mount and dismount a floor scrubber during daily operations - Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety - Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude - Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining quality standards - Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the workday - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds consistently during the shift - Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and maintenance duties in a manufacturing setting QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
