Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $23.55 - $24.57 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, as needed

Looking for Inventory Control Coordinator jobs in Houston where you can lead from the floor and keep production moving? This opportunity puts your leadership, manufacturing experience, and problem-solving skills to work keeping people productive, quality high, and safety at the center of every shift.

• Review daily inventory reports and monitor material availability
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend inventory adjustments
• Prioritize materials for production orders and communicate status updates
• Generate and distribute inventory, shipping, and receiving reports
• Assist with maintaining inventory transaction accuracy and system integrity
• Help resolve material shortages, receiving issues, and shipping concerns
• Process material and due date changes for released work orders
• Support continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, including Kanban processes
• Maintain inventory documentation according to company policies

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, technical training, manufacturing coursework, or leadership development training is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Previous inventory control, warehouse, materials management, or logistics experience preferred
• Experience working with inventory systems, reporting, and material tracking
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk throughout production areas for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and move throughout manufacturing or warehouse environments as required.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around production machinery, material handling equipment, noise, and other conditions common to manufacturing environments.
• Ability to remain active on the production floor while monitoring employees, equipment, safety, quality, and workflow.
