SUMMARY:

The Canada FinanceIntern will provide meaningful contributions to the finance organization with an emphasis on both daily tasks and project-based work.The intern will get visibility with senior management and have the opportunity to work with other areas of the company in support of their career aspirations. Successful candidates will have advanced Excel skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to learn.

Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid working environment. Interns are expected to come into the office in Libertyville IL a minimum of 4 days per week. Hollister does not provide relocation nor housing assistance for this opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specialized report development and maintenance
• Identify and recommend process improvements
• Document Process & procedures
• Perform month-end close processes and reporting
• Assist in special projects focusing on automation and compliance
• Analyze trends and variances in financial data
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Build out financial models for new product launches
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Have successfully completed a minimum of at least sophomore year of college
• Have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting
• Excellent Communication skills (written and oral)
• Self-starter/fast learner
• Ability to report to the Libertyville office during the internship (paid housing is not provided)

Upon successful completion of the Internship, the Intern could receive a full time offer into Hollister's Finance Development Program (FDP) upon graduation. The Development program will provide you exposure to four departments over the course of two years on either an Accounting Track (Corporate Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Global Audit and Global Tax) or Finance Track (The Americas Finance, US Business Unit Finance, Corporate FP&A and Manufacturing Finance).

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $22.00 - $26.00 per hour based on applicant's education and skills.
