American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for an Upholstery cleaner for our location in Huntington Beach, CA

Full time with benefits: medical, dental, vision, time off, 401k and more.

Able to lift and move Heavy furniture items (up to 75 pounds).

Salary $20 per hour

Have a clean background and able to pass pre-employment drug test(12panel)

The Upholstery Cleaner Specialist will be responsible for furniture hand shampooing and steam cleaning.

• Performs furniture hand shampooing and steam cleaning upholstery.
• Responsible for keeping the furniture in good condition and notifying if any replacement is needed.
• Review and understand work job orders specifications and instructions with management prior to beginning tasks.
• Perform quality control to all furniture.
• Assist in maintaining a neat and clean workplace.
• Assist with stocking the furniture and accessories on the appropriate shelves.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and required by management.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift and move heavy furniture items.
• Detail - oriented.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Planning and organizing skills.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

• Applying & mixing touch up colors
• Refinishing and touch up experience in a production environment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Must be able to see color
• Refinishing and touch up of wood and High-Pressure laminate
• Burn in work
• Grain matching
• Ability to use power tools and spray guns
