Position Summary In this role, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful business relationships and help customers achieve their financial goals.Providing guidance to help customers make decisions about their financial needs. Developing new business and building relationships with new and existing customers. Managing and retaining a portfolio of profitable lending relationships. Identifying lending opportunities and recommending solutions based on customer needs. Negotiating loan structures and coordinating lending documentation. Growing customer relationships to support individual and Bank production goals. Essential Knowledge & Skills The following skills are needed to be successful in your banking career as a Commercial Lender: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, referral sources, and coworkers. Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information, credit risk, collateral, and lending opportunities. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through phone, email, in-person conversations, presentations, and negotiations. Ability to work independently, stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
