Technical Recruiter Location: Remote EST Schedule/Shift:9/80 schedule, Eastern Time; core hours 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Pay: $30-$33 26-11118 Job Summary The Technical Talent Sourcer identifies, engages, and pre-screens passive candidates for specialized engineering, technical, security-cleared, and business roles. This position focuses on hands-on sourcing, targeted search strategies, candidate pipeline development, and labor market research in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers. The ideal candidate has experience sourcing technical talent, using advanced Boolean and online search techniques, and identifying candidates with security clearances. Job Responsibilities Identify, source, and engage passive candidates for engineering, technical, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and business positions. Develop targeted sourcing strategies in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers. Use LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, Juicebox, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms to identify qualified candidates. Conduct advanced Boolean searches, Google X-ray searches, and online research to locate specialized talent. Perform initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, relevant experience, and interest. Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates to develop long-term talent pipelines. Source engineering professionals across systems, software, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace disciplines. Identify candidates with security clearances for applicable technical positions. Conduct labor market research and analyze industry trends to improve sourcing strategies. Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity in applicant tracking systems and candidate relationship management databases. Support hiring events, targeted recruiting campaigns, and specialized talent searches. Provide sourcing metrics, market intelligence, and pipeline updates to recruiting leadership. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of talent sourcing and/or recruiting experience, with demonstrated hands-on sourcing responsibilities. Direct experience sourcing passive technical candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, SeekOut, Juicebox, or comparable platforms. Experience sourcing engineering professionals across multiple technical disciplines. Previous experience identifying and sourcing candidates with security clearances. Proficiency in advanced Boolean searches, Google X-ray searches, and alternative online sourcing methods. Ability to personally conduct candidate searches and passive candidate outreach. Experience conducting initial candidate screenings and maintaining candidate databases. Strong communication, candidate engagement, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects and competing priorities. U.S. citizenship required. An active security clearance is not required. Preferred Qualifications Experience sourcing talent within the aerospace and defense industries. Experience working in corporate technical sourcing teams or specialized recruiting agencies. Experience supporting government or defense-related programs. Demonstrated success building engineering candidate pipelines. Experience sourcing both technical and nontechnical talent.
