Salary range:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See Table 3 for the salary range. A reasonable estimate for this position is a 9 month salary between $200,000 to $350,000 commensurate with experience. "Off-scale salaries" and other components of pay, i.e., a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated rank and step, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions Anticipated start:

This faculty position is at the Full Professor level, and is associated with an endowed chair. The Materials department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, professional visibility and service.
