Job Details
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists the Director of Nursing in the organization, development and operation of the nursing department within a functional unit. As designated by the Director of Nursing, assumes responsibility for clinical operations, programs, various nurses in leadership or advanced practice roles, and/or professional support staff. The Assistant Director of Nursing participates in functional unit, department of nursing and hospital program and/or committees. In the absence of the Director of Nursing, the Assistant Director of Nursing assumes responsibility for nursing service within the functional unit. This ADON will be over Ambulatory Oncology and will have oversight of Infusion, Oncology Urgent Care, Office Practice, Inpatient/Outpatient and Bone Marrow Transplant as well as Apheresis. The ideal candidate comes from an ambulatory and academic background and oncology experience is highly preferred as this person will ideally assist with program expansion. Who Should Apply:
