Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in home, community, clinic, and hospital settings.
  • Provide crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation.
  • Partner with paraprofessional staff to serve youth and their families
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and their providers to stabilize youth in crisis.
  • Coordinate referrals to other levels of care and community providers. Maintain linkages to community providers.
  • Qualifications:
  • Grade C12- Clinician III: Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Grade C16- Clinician IV: Master's degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
  • Must be licensed or license eligible- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or CAGS.
  • 1 or more years of experience providing clinical services to youth. Preference given for those with experience in fast-paced settings.
  • Must have excellent clinical, written and verbal skills, and the ability to complete thorough and accurate documentation within an electronic health record.
  • Must possess excellent intake, interviewing, and assessment skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of current version of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
  • Strong computer/word processing skills.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding care.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Must hold a current valid US-issued driver's license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites
