Administrative Support (ON CALL ASSIGNMENTS)

This is a part-time temporary on-call basis position. Will be scheduled to assist with various assignments throughout the Laboratory.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with relevant administrative, secretarial, or clerical work requiring the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
  • Experience in office administrative support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to learn SharePoint

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 2-4 years relevant administrative, secretarial experience
  • PeopleSoft experience highly desirable
  • Experience arranging complex travel
  • AAS in secretarial science or equivalent

  • This position is 100% on-site.

  • Brookhaven National Laboratory is committed to providing fair, equitable and competitive compensation. The full salary range for this position is $16 - $23 / hour. Salary offers will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualification, education and experience and considered with the internal peer group.
