Job Description

  • Data collection, special projects: This includes supplying regular analytical reports on academic technology utilization.
  • Incident Ticket Management: includes the creation of, monitoring, researching, updating, and distribution of tickets to various staff or departments as applicable. This applies to all the technology in the labs and classrooms in addition to customer requests and questions.
  • Assist faculty, staff and students with technology in the academic lab and classroom environment.
  • Troubleshooting, responding to immediate technical or customer service issues: This includes visiting locations to provide real-time 1st, and 2nd tier support.
  • Oversees the annual refresh of the ISS Windows environment, ensure testing is completed to ensure overall health of the environment to support instruction.
  • Training, assistance with complex issues: This includes conducting scheduled and spontaneous trainings regarding services offered, policies and procedures surrounding the classroom and labs, as well as providing tier three customer service in the discovery and solution to unique or reoccurring issues.
  • Research, learning, collaboration: This includes reviewing current trends in academic technology, technical specifications of products, conducting surveys, testing new ideas or services, discussions on forward thinking topics, and accessing and creating online content.
  • Technology Procurement - serves as the facilitator in the BPM 12004 technology purchase request process.

8am-5pm M-F.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

  • Sassafras Key server experience
  • Team Dynamix experience
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Excel
  • InTune and/or SCCM knowledge
  • Mac OS & iOS knowledge
  • Power BI Development experience
  • Power Apps experience
  • Audio-Visual equipment and support knowledge
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Training material creation experience
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with other teams as needed.
Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $51,875-$66,810
Grade: GGS-9E
