Additional Compensation Details:

  • $78k-94k Annual, Dependent on Experience and Location of Role
  • Potential 90-day performance-based raise

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Manager who will be the conduit between sales and purchasing to maximize the profitability of the division and a strong understanding of financial reporting and information systems. The ideal candidate would have the ability to gather data from numerous sources and compile it into information that can be simply and successfully used by various stakeholders, including shareholders, divisional General Managers and departmental Managers. Understand and develop division pricing matrix to allow sales staff to be successful in their role. Work with customer service, pricing admin and procurement department to create special programs, contracts or bids. Conduct regular and extensive research to consolidate and grow our spot in the market.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external parties, related to pricing strategies for all channels.
  • Analyze daily margin and make changes accordingly to drive results.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for all sales channels.
  • Train and develop sales staff to understand and utilize our pricing methods.
  • Work with Sales team to determine how customers are priced.
  • Contribute to leadership team with business analysis and insights to drive results for Division.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers on Margin targets and timely execution.
  • Work with purchasing department and sales team on contracted items.
  • Develop thorough understanding of pricing structures and create best practices for structured pricing.
  • Contribute to budgeting and sales forecasting by channel and rep.
  • Work with other teams; buyers, operations and sales support persons to communicate customer's needs and preferences.


Qualifications

Required Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, preferred
  • Ideally, 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Manager or related role
  • Background in produce/ food distribution sales.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence and affect change where required.
  • Broad conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent process documentation skills.
  • Strong experience with AS400, Tableau, DocLink, MS Office- Excel, high proficiency
