Resident Manager - The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center

About the Role

The Resident Manager plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our rehabilitation program by ensuring our philosophy, standards, and practices create an effective and supportive environment for recovery.


Compensation & Benefits

Core Responsibilities

  • Enforce and maintain house rules and facility security
  • Lead weekly house meetings and new resident orientations
  • Supervise medication administration and documentation
  • Coordinate and supervise work therapy assignments
  • Plan and implement leisure activities
  • Respond to emergencies following established procedures
  • Conduct regular bed checks and substance screening tests
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports
  • Provide safe transportation for beneficiaries as needed


Qualifications
Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of managerial experience (or equivalent combination of training/experience)
  • Valid driver's license with ability to qualify for The Salvation Army insurance
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in basic math and data analysis
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds


Preferred

  • College degree
  • Experience in rehabilitation or recovery services
  • Background in social services or related field


Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and write clear reports
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Capacity to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Computer proficiency for electronic documentation
