About Us
As one of the country’s largest family-owned and -operated prepared foods businesses, it may be hard to imagine our humble beginnings in the rural farmhouse kitchen of Mildred and Earl Reser. It was 1950 when Mildred began perfecting her own potato salad and selling it as Mrs. Reser’s Salads to various local stores in order to supplement the family income. Little did she know she was laying the groundwork for a brand now known to families across the nation to be synonymous with good food, good people, and good times.
Today—led by our CEO, Mark Reser—we still begin and end each day as a family, guided by the same goals and values that set the Reser’s business in motion over 75 years ago. Built on four generations of commitment to high quality and exceeding customer expectations, it’s our time-honored dedication to family, fun, trust and traditions that fuels our growth and inspires us to contribute in meaningful ways to the communities we serve.
Together, we prioritize corporate responsibility and community outreach. We believe in good corporate stewardship, and that conducting business in a socially responsible manner while reducing our environmental impact is good for our employees, our customers, our communities, and our planet.
Business aside, we truly believe that life is best-spent savoring more moments with the ones we love. In partnership with our retail and food service customers, we strive to create delicious, quality foods and meals that bring people together for that purpose.
